Hello ( Fellow Indiana voters ),
- - we got this letter and are sharing it with you

Once in a while, a leader comes along with the vision and courage to rally us around a common purpose. Robert F. Kennedy provided those ideas and built the coalitions to win in Indiana 40 years ago. Today, Barack Obama is that kind of leader, and he can fundamentally change our political system to make progress on the issues that matter in people's lives.

As the primary in Indiana approaches this Tuesday, too much of the conversation in the press is focused on sideshows and distractions. As I go door-to-door in cities and small-towns across the state, people are focused on the cost of gasoline, jobs, fair trade, and better health care. We need to fight for the kind of change that's going to bring real solutions that help Hoosier families.

Change only comes from the hard work of people who demand it. Casting your ballot right now for real change and for Barack Obama is the answer. You can vote early; if you'd like help finding your polling place, just click here:

Barack gives us reason to believe again, and he backs up inspiration with concrete plans. He recognizes that we must be strong at home in order to be strong abroad. A strong America begins with affordable health care for all Americans, making for healthier families and competitive businesses in the global economy. Barack knows from his own life experience that going to fill up your gas tank gives you sticker shock at the price, and he has a plan for energy independence, not short-term gimmicks and empty promises. And he has the sound judgment and experience to propose a new American foreign policy that meets the challenges of the 21st century.

When we work to improve our politics, when we work to make things change, it requires our individual effort and time. One of my favorite quotes from Reverend Martin Luther King focuses on the requirement that we all must act to improve America - "Everybody can be great because anybody can serve" - and we best serve our country when we are voting and working for our candidates. When we engage in this, we are working to change the direction of our country.

Therefore, the important thing you can do is vote. You can vote early in Indiana up until noon on May 5th. Hit the link above to find your polling location.

And once you've voted, you can roll up your sleeves and work to elect Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States. The eyes of the world are on Indiana, and you can volunteer to make the difference. Click here to find out how.

Robert Kennedy unified Democrats, Independents, and Republicans in a powerful coalition of hope in Indiana. With your help, Senator Obama is working on uniting people, proposing specific solutions, and helping Hoosier families overcome challenging economic times. You can help elect the next President of the United States.

And please make sure to vote.

Thank you,
Tim Roemer
